Tessa is an Emotional Release Practitioner and Herbalist located in San Mateo County. She is a passionate medicine maker, non-indigenous beader, and lover of earth.
Her path into herbalism began with her own healing journey; after years of dealing with trauma-related grief and depression from the loss of her father to suicide at age 11, and being diagnosed with PCOS at 23, she began to feel defeated by the recommendations of the traditional medical system. She then set off on a trek to find what healing meant to her, and has never looked back. She understands that the term “healing” is truly in the eye of the beholder; all that life brings is a “healing” journey and she’s along for the ride. Her own personal expedition through herbalism and somatics exponentially changed her life and has inspired her to bring this work to the greater public and make it accessible to everyone.
Tessa’s greatest fulfillment comes from foraging soulful connections and witnessing individuals thrive in their fullest authentic expression. She looks forward to holding space for you and supporting you to find your own unique definition of “healing”.

Danielle’s journey into plant medicine began during a challenging period in her life when her beloved dog was diagnosed with bone cancer. Given only weeks to live, she turned to herbal medicine in search of hope. With a carefully designed diet and herbal regimen, her dog not only defied the prognosis but lived two years longer than expected. Though this was a difficult time, it deeply inspired Danielle to explore the power of herbal medicine.
As her passion for plant medicine grew, she enrolled at the Berkeley Herbal Center, where she completed both Village Herbalist programs. This experience reinforced her dedication to holistic healing. Danielle has always been drawn to helping others in a healthcare setting. Her early career as an EMT in Sonoma County led her to patient care, assisting in the neonatal intensive care unit at UCSF, where she spent 10 years working with the neonatal population. Alongside this, she also worked as a Pilates instructor, helping people heal through conscious movement and harness a deeper connection with mind and body.
Now living in Hawaii on the beautiful garden island of Kauai, Danielle is preparing to open her own clinical practice within her community. She envisions a collaborative approach, integrating plant medicine with other healthcare professionals. Passionate about holistic well-being, Danielle is eager to work with individuals seeking healing, balance, and a deeper connection to their health.
